Quinta do Noval--Vintage 1963
Bin-soiled labels
Nice medium red colour, quite thick. At first a lot of alcohol on the nose then after time, ripe prune and currants. Dense rich palate, still with lots of body; complex, thickly textured; chewy currants, hint of sweet prune and caramel. Another fine '63 and well worth the money. Still has time. Now - 2010 + Jan 2000 DW
6 bottles per lot
