Lot Essay

The Sociéité Anonyme du Val d'Osne produced a wealth of high quality cast-iron garden furniture and fittings from the mid- to late 19th century. The company changed ownership twice in the late 1860s, beginning as Barbezat and settling as the Société Anonyme du Val d'Osne in 1870.
