The 'D'-shaped top with ribbon-tied reeded edge, above a panelled frieze carved with a scene of wine-making Bacchic putti, signed A. Petrilli/Firenze, the angled jambs carved with foliage and ribbon-tied trophies emblematic of Music and Painting, the concave hearth surround with leaf-carved inner edge
39¾ in. (101 cm.) high; 44½ in. (113 cm.) wide; 14¼ in. (36.2 cm.) deep; The opening: 24½ in. x 17¾ in. (62.2 cm. x 45 cm.)
