A PAIR OF MEISSEN BLUE-GROUND TWO-HANDLED VASES
Late 19th century, blue crossed swords marks, both incised G. 167., probably by E.A. Leuteritz
Ovoid, with upright loop handles terminating in palmettes, finely decorated in the Limoges style with friezes of classical figures and processions, on knopped socle supports and circular bases, the edges enriched with gilt lines
