The funnel bowl engraved with the crowned coat-of-arms of Stadholder Prince William IV (1711-1751) encircled by the garter inscribed HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE flanked by two crowned lion supporters above the banderole inscribed JE MAIN TIEN DRAY, the lower part cut with arches, the multi-knopped stem enclosing an elongated tear, mounted with a contemporary silver foot stamped BME
