A pair of majolica plant pots and a pair of small jardinieres
Late 19th century
The first of cylindrical form with broad everted rim, moulded in high relief to the sides with putti carrying vines and eating and picking grapes, the rim moulded with scattered oak leaves and acorns, enriched in green, yellow and cream glazes reserved on a brown-ground colour, the two small jardinières similar, with oviform bowls on a high pedestal base with spreading foot, moulded in high relief with scattered oak leaves and acorns, enriched with similar colours, within turquoise glazed rims (damages)
