The first, the porcelain 18th Century, the decoration probably later, blue shield marks and date codes; the second, late 18th Century with contemporary decoration
The first cup painted with a cartouche of the legend of Hercules, Deinaneira and Nessus reserved on a pink, green, claret and copper-coloured geometric ground enriched with raised and tooled gilding, the cup inscribed Entführung der Denarea; the second painted with borders of flowers and foliage reserved on a pink and gilt geometric-pattern ground (2)
