A detailed static display model of a Vosper Thornycroft fast patrol boat
originally built by Bassett-Lowke with additional detailing by C.K.Wakefield with signal mast, radar, whip and D.F. aerials and deck details including anchor, cleats, bollards, hatches, lockers, fore and aft quick firing guns, wheelhouse with open bridge over, helmsman's seat, controls, chart table and windscreen, boarding net, torpedoes in cradles, depth charges, rubber dinghy, life raft and belts. The hull, with twin shafts and three blade propellors has gas turbine engine exhausts, twin rudders and trim tabs. Finished in red, pale green and grey deck. Mounted on three turned wood columns. Display base and perspex cover -- 15 x 27½in. (38 x 70cm).
