A double-sided fan signed Lucf, the paper leaf with gauze inserts painted with a gentleman offering flowers to a lady, a pipe-playing cupid nearby, the reserves with mother-of-pearl vignettes, the verso showing the scene from the back, with carved, pierced and gilt mother-of-pearl sticks--8½in. (21.5cm.), circa 1890
