Super-chancery 2° (310 x 212mm). Roman type, white-on-black historiated woodcut initial, initial spaces with guide-letters, contemporary marginalia and interlinear notes in brown ink. (Some light marginal dampstaining.) 18th-century half vellum over pasteboards, title lettered on spine (head chipped, extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: Count Dmitri Bourtourlin (1763-1829, bookplate; sale Paris, 25 November 1839, lot 2185) -- Joseph Néve, Brussels (armorial bookplate).
