A Victorian three-piece tea service
of tapering moulded circular form and on spreading bases, each with a beaded rim and scroll handle, engraved with foliage and strapwork and with conforming cartouches, each engraved with a monogram, the teapot with rising curved spout and domed hinged cover with beaded circular finial, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, Charles Hawksworth & John Eyre, London 1866 and 1868 - height of teapot 6½in. (16.50cm.), 40.25oz.
