Oval, with moulded borders, the detachable cover finely engraved with a coat of arms within scrolls, husks, scales, strapwork and grotesque mask mantling, marked on base with Britannia standard mark only, traces of marks to cover

The arms are Harbin impaling Swayne for Wyndham Harbin Esq., (1685-1741) and his wife Abigail, daughter of Richard Swayne, of Gunville, co. Dorset, whom he married in 1714.
