In the Neo-Classical taste, urn-shaped on pedestal foot chased with a border of water-leaves, the body chased with a border of acanthus below drapery garlands, a formal border of scrolls and husking above, with two textured bifurcated entwined serpent handles, the rising cover with acanthus border and acanthus bud finial, the body engraved with a presentation inscription, marked on side and cover bezel
