Rectangular silver-gilt plated box with rounded corners, the cover and base engraved with rectangular panels of horizontal engine-turning forming reeded lozenges floating on a wavy ground, within a frame of trailing floral scrolls on a frosted ground, plain rims, the sides similarly engraved, the front side wall and right hand side wall with levers, a barrel musical movement inside, with associated key
