A pair of Carl Thieme porcelain Ewers and covers
Late 19th Century, printed C.T. marks, painted numerals
Of baluster form, with everted neck and richly-gilt flower finial to the covers, each cover tied to the ewer with pierced apertures, the handles formed from sweeping double scrolls with acanthus leaf terminals, painted with blue, white and grey flowers against a pale-pink ground colour, enriched with gilt scrolls, within gilt-line rims (rubbing to gilding generally)
