Two Sevres-style plates
Late 19th Century, printed green Sèvres imitiation marks, S32 and S.76, incised numerals and painted iron-red titles to reverse
The first painted with a scene depiciting Atilla the Hun in full armour on horseback leading an army to Troy, within a bleu celeste ground border painted with mirror-shaped gilt cartouches of bouquets of flowers, titled in iron-red script Attila devant Troyes, the second painted with a similar scene with Atilla the Hun on horseback leading an army facing St. Berry who stands protecting a city in the distance, within a similar border, titled in iron-red script Attila et St. Berry (minor rubbing to gilding)
