A BURR WALNUT AND INLAID SECRETAIRE CABINET
Early 18th century and later
Adapted and modified, the upper part with a swan-neck pediment applied with rosettes with central platform, enclosed by a pair of mirrored re-entrant arched panel doors with gilt gesso slips and a pair of candle slides below, the lower part with a fall enclosing a graduated fitted interior with a central enclosed cupboard flanked by pigeon holes and drawers and inset with a green velvet writing surface containing three long drawers with rounded canted angles, on bracket feet
