A BOW FIGURE GROUP OF A BIRD FAMILY
Circa 1760, incised S to the underside
Conceived as a chamberstick, the candle nozzle never applied, a branch handle at the back with flower-thumb rest, modelled as a male and female perched in branches, above fledglings in a nest and trailing flowering vine, the pink-enriched base with a recumbent lamb
