Late 19th century, blue crossed torch mark probably for the rue la Roquette factory, after the marble by François Girardon
The scantily draped Bacchus seated on a rock, flanked by nymphs wearing garlands of ivy and robes tied at the waist, one holding vine wreath, the other serving him wine, two satyrs squabbling over a basket at Bacchus's feet, the back with a putto feeding Bacchus's lion and with martial and musical trophies on the rockwork base
