Helmut Newton's pictorial of Nastassia Kinski for the May 1983 issue, presented the actress in a fantasy setting with Kinski in an exotic play with a Marlene Dietrich doll, while the director of her film Exposed, James Toback looks on. Kinski remarked of Newton, "Helmut brings out the strangeness in you, things a woman usually tries to hide."
