A PAIR OF OSTROGOTHIC GOLD AND GLASS EARRINGS
Circa 6th Century A.D.
Each with a large hoop-shaped earwire, round in section, threaded through a hollow polygonal bead and formed into a hook-and-loop closure, the bead perforation rimmed with beaded wire, four faces of each bead set with garnet-colored glass, the entire surface of the bead patterned with fine granulation
