The main panel with Herakles driving a quadriga consisting of three black horses and one white, Athena and Hermes beside him, an onlooker facing them from the right, Herakles clad in his lionskin, the forepaws knotted at his chest, the hind legs and tail falling along the hero's legs, his quiver over his shoulder, stepping up onto the chariot with his left leg, holding the reins in both hands, Athena with her skin in added white, wearing a high crested Corinthian helmet, her spear against her right shoulder, her left arm raised, bearded snakes rising from her aegis, Hermes before her looking back, wearing a petasos, his kerykeion held across his body, the female onlooker to the far right wearing a himation over a belted chiton; the predella with animals, a lion and parts of two stags preserved; the shoulder with Theseus battling the Minotaur, the hero lunging forward and gripping the bull-headed monster with his left hand, thrusting his dagger forward with his right, the Minotaur down on his right knee, bending his head forward, a cloak hanging behind him, a male onlooker standing to the left with a spear and himation, Ariadne seated to the right; double palmette chain framing the main panel, alternating red and black tongues on the shoulder, rosettes along the rim, rays above the foot
