A ROMAN GLASS RIBBED BOWL
Circa Late 1st Century B.C.-Early 1st Century A.D.
Cobalt blue in color, the thick hemispherical bowl sagged with twenty-six vertical ribs, with a single horizontal wheel-cut groove on the interior wall, two around the center of the bowl, and a small ring in the center
2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) high; 7¾ (19.7 cm.) diameter
