A Japanese carved wood mask of an old man, possibly Okina, Edo Period (17th/18th century)
with gesso and pigment, modelled with smiling expression, fitted chin whiskers and beard -- 7½in. (19cms) long; and a further lacquered wood noh mask carved with extended nose and grimacing expression, red and black pigment -- 8½in. (21.5cms) long. (2)
