Circa 1758, painted workman's mark
Naturalistically moulded in the form of overlapping cos-lettuce leaves, the handled formed from a scrolling stalk, the outer sides painted with scattered polychrome insects, butterflies and flowers, the interior painted with a flower-spray, below a brown-line rim (rubbing to enamels generally)
