Volta: An 18ct. gold, enamel and diamond set quarter repeating keyless chronograph hunter pocket watch
Signed Volta, ca. 1900's
the frosted gilt movement with bimetallic balance and lever escapement, repeating the hours and quarters on two gongs by depressing a button in the band, the white enamel dial with Arabic indices and five minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, outer seconds ring and sweep centre seconds operated by a single button in the band, the plain case set with rose-cut diamonds in a scroll pattern to front and back covers, the back cover with red enamel floral pattern.
