the gilt chain fusee verge movement with unusual pillars of silver human heads surrounded by a gilt breakarch pediment (one missing) pierced and engraved silver cock and foot with floral and scroll design, the silver champleve dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five-minute divisions, moulded escutcheon to the centre field with date aperture, blued steel beetle and poker hands, with milled decoration to the rim, in gilt plain silver consular case.
