Bassam and sold by Sherwood, Neely, and Jones, and Scatcherd & Co., 1812. 12° (126 x 80mm). Numerous woodcut illustrations, ?some by Thomas Bewick, text within woodcut borders. (Title with 2 short marginal tears, lightly soiled, some borders shaved, upper margin of final leaf partly torn away, just touching text on verso.) Contemporary calf-backed boards (top and tail of spine worn, very rubbed, corners bumped). cf. Herbert 1299; Osborne II, 759.

Etched frontispiece and 40 etched illustrations. (Frontispiece lightly waterstained and piece of paper laid down on recto, title lightly browned, light offsetting from plates.) Contemporary calf (rebacked with old spine relaid, scuffed). Provenance: Elizabeth Jane Woddhouse Ferguson (presentation inscription by her grandmother on verso of frontispiece, dated 25 December 1823). Gumuchian 5791: "Illustrated with a fine frontispiece and 40 magnificently engraved plates by W. Worthington from the designs by Bromley"; cf. Osborne II, 669 (not listing this edition).
