A 19th. Century ivory trinket box with gold, gem and jasper-ware mounts,
the rectangular box with lift off lid and divided interior fitted with a trough, the body set at either end with a navette shaped white on blue jasper flowerhead, one cracked, with rose-cut diamond centre and engraved gold border, the lid with central jasper plaque depicting a classical scene in gold and rose-cut diamond frame flanked by twin gold straps set with cabochon sapphires, one deficient, 13.7 x 6.5 x 3.3 cm.; and an ivory, gold and amethyst miniature easel with a central hexagonal amethyst slice in gold mounts with French marks, 4.3 cm. high.
