A South German walnut display cabinet
Würzburg, mid-18th Century
The cornice surmounted by a bold pierced floral trellis-filled C-scroll, above a pair of glazed panelled doors enclosing a plain interior with two shelves, (the third lacking), on bold cabriole legs carved with rockwork and flowerheads, the base with canted rockwork angles flanking a pair of doors each inlaid with intricate scrolling interlaced strapwork bands, enclosing a plain interior with one shelf, above a waved apron centred by a rockwork clasp, on scroll legs
