Each egg (one broken and glued) finely decorated in low relief with battle scenes, symbolic figures, cupids holding drapes with inscribed text, the Dutch lion holding a sword and coat-of-arms of the town Delft and others, the finial with a shield inscribed A VOC and DOOR, IAN BOOGERT, den Brielle 1772, each on vase-shaped stand formed by cloves, on circular wood base, and two oval boxes formed by cloves
