Lot Essay

The present lot depicts a number of hunting accompaniments including a side by side dubblebarelled hunting-rifle, a ground-net for catching quails, an otter-trap without teeth to avoid damage to the fur and a hunting bag. The depicted animals are a woodpecker, a commom teal (male), a wild duck (male), an otter, a grouse, a golden retriever, a hare and a cock-pheasant.
