Lot Essay

Elizabeth was the daughter of John Cotgrave, Major E.I.C.S. and widow of William Ashburner (died 1861). She married Sir Charles Forbes (1773-1849) in 1800 and had, with other issue.
The Lonach Highland & Friendly Society was founded in 1823 by Sir Charles Forbes, 1st Baronet of Newe & Edinglassie.
