A Steiff teddy bear
with reddish gold mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and hump --12¼in. (31cm.) high, circa 1907 (thinning to top of head and some red staining, tiny hole in muzzle, some facial stitching loose, small holes in three pads and slight general wear); and a photograph of the original owner with her teddy bear (tear to top right corner and grafitti on bottom edge) (2)
