A rare Steiff teddy bear with muzzle
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump, FF button in ear with remains of white tag and original brown leather muzzle with lead and STEIFF stamped on collar --12¾in. (32.5cm.) high, circa 1910 (small bald patch to right hand and back of left ankle, slight ware to heels, a few small holes in pads feet pads and lead slightly fragile)
