A collection of material relating to The Gallery First-Nighters' Club, est. 1896, including:
- 37 portrait photographs by Sasha of various actors and playwrights, all signed by the photographer, majority with photographer's ink-stamp to verso, subjects include: Sir George Bernard Shaw, Charles Laughton, Phyllis Neilson-Terry, The Co-Optimists and Binnie Hale, all -- 13x10in. (33x25.4cm.);
- 20 portrait photographs by Barraud of various actors, each with photographer's printed mount, subjects include: Sir Henry Irving, Martin Harvey, Johnston Forbes Robertson, Charles Wyndham and Ellen Terry, overall measurements -- 14½x10½in. (37x26.6cm.); and a large quantity of dinner menus for the Club's annual dinners, 12 signed by various guests including: Douglas Fairbanks Jnr., Gertrude Lawrence, Stanley Lupino, Laddie Cliff, Tom Walls, George Robey, Jack Buchanan and Binnie Hale, majority -- 7¾x5½in.
