A collection of letters and signed photographs to a Belgian journalist, 1950s-1970s, comprising:
- three letters from Audrey Hepburn, one typescript, dated 14th November, 1960, thanking him for his letter ...I am naturally tremendously happy with the wonderful news about my being given your award...Please convey my deepest gratitude to your paper, signed in blue ballpoint pen Audrey Hepburn, 1p; another typescript, dated 20th July, 1965 ...I was touched and happy to hear that I have won your wonderful prize. I dearly wish I could be there on the night of 16th August to receive it, but regrettably that is the day I start shooting on my next picture in Paris... [How To Steal A Million] signed in blue ink Audrey Hepburn, 1p; and an autograph letter, signed, on Villa Bethania, Burgenstock headed stationery, dated 12th February, 1963, again thanking him for being awarded the same prize again, 2pp., with original envelope addressed in Hepburn's hand;
- two autograph letters, signed, from Alec Guinness on Kettlebrook Meadows, Steep Marsh, Nr. Petersfield... headed stationery, one dated 12th December, 1959, thanking him for his letter and giving details of available dates to receive a statuette, the other dated 16th July, 1965, thanking him for his invitation but declining due to a hectic filming schedule, both 1p.;
- a black and white photograph of Tyrone Power's marriage to Linda Christian, 1958, signed and inscribed in blue ink With all my very best, Tyrone Power -- 6½x8½in. (16.5x21.5cm.); and
- a black and white photograph of Orson Welles, 1970s, signed and inscribed in purple felt pen from your old friend, Orson Welles -- 12x8in. (30.5x20.3cm.) (8)
