Peter Sellers' original script for a Goon Show insert on a TV show Harry Secombe and Friends/The Harry Secombe Show, Sunday, March 6th, 1966, the script The Whistling Spy Enigma, 23pp. of mimeographed typescript annotated throughout in Sellers' hand and signed Peter Sellers in blue felt pen on attached studio schedule, the verso of final script page inscribed on a separate occasion by actress Sandra Gough with two verses of the lyrics to the song Fly Me To The Moon

The Harry Secombe Show on March 6th, 1966 was the first of two occasions, post the recording of the last Goon Show radio broadcast in 1960, when the Goons were reunited during this decade. The idea being to film the three Goons reading from a script in order to recreate the unique Goon Show atmosphere ...The Goon Show finally chosen was The Whistling Spy Enigma from 1955, all about conspiracies and exploding Hungarian football boots. The atmosphere created during the performance was quite Goonish and 'live' with plenty of jokes at Secombe's expense and ...Spike in...delightfully unruly and nonconformist... mood.
