FIRST EDITION of this early libretto by Dickens. His musical collaborator on the work was John Hullah, who was Government Inspector of Musical Education. It was originally issued in gray boards and copies are extremely rare; the present sheets were among the approximately 100 sets of unbound sheets uncovered in 1894. Eckel, pp. 157-58. RARE.
