A ZUNI POLYCHROME JAR
with small concave base, full rounded body, ridged shoulder, and tapering neck, painted in red and dark brown over a chalky white slip, with a series of three scalloped medallions, alternating with "dagger" devices in two registers, a band of similar devices on the neck, with hatched and cross-hatched details, inscribed on the base, XZU-71-G, NW-US (ZU) 2-XX-2711, and 1961.146
