Details
A finely engineered approx 1/4 scale working model of a de Havilland Gypsy Major Series I engine,
builder unknown, with finned cylinders, pushrod operated overhead valves, removable rocker covers, twin plugs per cylinder, updraught carburettor and float chamber, inlet manifold and exhaust pipe, gear driven magnetos and oil pumps, correct throttle/advance/retard linkage, finely carved laminated propeller and much other detailing, finished in black and mounted in a welded steel frame finished in blue with electrical connections -- 10¾ x 17¾in. (27.5 x 45cm.) (excluding propeller)
