A young girl's dress of white cotton with wide puff sleeves
trimmed with olive green wool embroidery, circa 1825, with a paper tag inscribed Frock given to Augusta's Mother by her God Mother, Mrs Wm Walsh, June 1832; another of muslin trimmed with maroon wool embroidery; and a quantity of early 19th century baby clothes, many with inscribed tags(a lot)

Lot Essay

One or two small marks and stains on first dress but generally good condition. Same with second dress. Three robes, all generally good although all have small patches of staining and marks, one with brown marks on the front and back. Bodice, sleeves badly stained, wear under arms, printed cotton on back torn.
