engraving, 1579, on laid paper, the second state (of three) after the Antverpiae apud Petrum de Jode address but before that of C.J. Visscher, trimmed to or just inside the platemark, laid down on Japon, with the usual wear, minor surface soiling and areas of pale staining, old glue remains in places along the reverse (slightly showing through within the image), several thinned areas (touched-in and backed), a small tear at the lower left edge, otherwise generally in good condition, framed
