four engravings, 1559, on laid and wove papers, (Bast., Holl. 128; 132; and 137) the first state (of two) before the removal of H. Cock's address, (Bast., Holl. 138) the second (final) state after the removal of H. Cock's address, trimmed to or just inside the platemarks, (H. 128) with narrow margins, all laid down on Japon, with the usual wear, minor surface soiling and pale moisture staining, several losses mostly along the lower edges (backed), old glue remains in places on the reverse, (Bast., Holl. 128) with losses at the upper and lower left corners (backed), a 2 1/8-in. vertical crease and slight associated loss at the upper center edge extending into the image (also backed), areas of moisture staining in the center of the image, a few small tears at the margin edges, (Bast., Holl. 137) with a small area of staining at upper center, otherwise all generally in good condition, all framed
