A Staunton pattern boxwood and ebony chess set
Jaques & Son, London, late 19th century
The king stamped JACQUES, LONDON, the mahogany box with green label printed Two Prize Medals awarded 1862 and facsimile of Howard Staunton's signature
The king -- 3½in. (9cm.) high; the pawn -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high
And Chinese bone mounted mahjong pieces, contained within a relief carved wood cabinet -- 9½in. (24cm.) wide
