A Sunderland (Garrison Pottery) named and dated lustre jug

Of globular form, printed with a West View of the Cast Iron Bridge in Sunderland to the front, the reverse printed with 'The Farmer's Arms' with the motto GOD SPEED THE PLOUGH below which is printed DIXON, AUSTIN & Co. SUNDERLAND and signed Downing f.c.t., also with a printed rendition of the Forget me not verse within a floral wreath below Chas. & Sophia Dell Married at St. Edmonds Salisbury Dec 25th 1822, enriched in pink lustre (minor rubbing to lustre and slight ctacks to bottom terminal of handle)
