An English porcelain part dessert-service
CIRCA 1815-20, PROBABLY RIDGWAYS
Painted with gilt vignettes of polychrome flowers against buff-coloured borders and dark-blue wells, enriched with trailing gilt fruiting vines and foliage, comprising; a high comport on acanthus-moulded tripod base with paw feet (base re-stuck, rubbing to gilding), three moulded rectangular serving-dishes, two shaped oval serving-dishes (some staining), four shell-shaped serving dishes with gilt shell-moulded handles (one with slight hairline crack, light glaze crazing to two bases), and nine plates (slight staining to two, minute chipping to footrims, light rubbing to gilding generally)
