printed and painted to commemorate the death of Princess Charlotte, printed with a portrait of the Princess between printed inscriptions IN COMMEMORATION OF THE LATE AND MUCH LAMENTED and Princess Charlotte of Saxe Cobourg Who departed this life Nov. 6th, 1817 within rims moulded with flowers and leaves, impressed ship mark and Stevenson to the reverse -- 6in. (15.3cm.), circa 1817 (slight surface scratches)
