19TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORD MARK, PAINTED NUMERAL 15
The globular inkwell heavily encrusted with white flowerheads and applied with trailing flowers, foliage and yellow perching birds, with a gilt branch finial to the cover (bird finial detached), standing on tripod Egyptian caryatid supports on a circular plinth base painted with insects and gilt-moulded with swags, with cylindrical liner and two stoppers similarly encrusted and applied with a yellow bird finial
