AN INDIAN IVORY SMALL BUREAU ON A MAHOGANY STAND
THE BUREAU VIZIGAPATAM, 18TH CENTURY, THE STAND LATER
The bureau engraved overall with bands of various flowers, the flap enclosing a conforming fitted interior of pigeon-holes and drawer, above a drawer, on ball feet, the reverse with Parsons & Hart, Andover, depository label inscribed 'Hibbert', on a 20th century stand with gadrooned moulded edge and plain frieze, on chamfered square legs with shaped angle brackets

The stand: 29¼ in. (74 cm.) high; 21¾ in. (55 cm.) wide; 11 in. (28 cm.) deep
